Thirteen participating restaurants and inns from Neustift to Klausen/Lajen celebrate one of autumn’s finest treasures: the chestnut. And Taubers Unterwirt is right in the heart of it.
Look forward to delicious chestnut-inspired specialities, while along the Keschtnweg – the famous Chestnut Trail – a varied programme of guided hikes, tastings and farmers’ markets invites you to experience autumn in South Tyrol at its most authentic.
And one thing is certain: chestnuts simply taste like autumn.

From mid-October onwards, Feldthurns celebrates its traditional Keschtnigl Weeks – all about delicious chestnut specialities from local farm kitchens and wine cellars during Törggelen season.
A colourful programme accompanies the culinary celebrations, with experiences such as “Chestnuts along the Keschtnweg”, discoveries in chestnut country, traditional chestnut roasting, family-friendly chestnut walks, gourmet hikes and much more.
Among the highlights are the traditional Nigl Market and Keschtnigl Sunday.

A large exhibition brings together leading bike brands and the latest innovations, with plenty of opportunities to test new bikes right in the heart of Brixen.

at Zöhlhof in Feldthurns
Experience a wine tasting with a difference, right at Zöhlhof organic winery in the Isarco Valley.
After all, who could tell you more about a wine than the person who made it? And with views like these, every glass seems to taste just that little bit better.

Join our guide on the Isarco Valley Wine Trail, including a visit to Neustift Abbey followed by a small cheese tasting.
The Wine Trail leads from Brixen along quiet roads and country paths through South Tyrol’s northernmost vineyards. Passing orchards and the Brixen district of Kranebitt, the scenic route continues to the Augustinian Neustift Abbey.
On the way back, the trail climbs slightly higher along the hillside, winding through small woods and terraced vineyards before returning to Brixen.
